2nd Annual LED Holiday Light Exchange!

Holiday season is here, and this often means decorating our homes with holiday lights. Unfortunately, traditional incandescent light strands use a lot of energy. Because LED (light emitting diode) strands use 90% less energy than the older lights, the city's ClimateSmart team is hosting the 2nd Annual LED Holiday Light Exchange at McGuckin Hardware. Bring in up to five working incandescent holiday light strands and receive a $7 coupon off available LED holiday light strands. In 2007 we exchanged 1,800 strands that will save 30,000 pounds of carbon dioxide annually.
