PACE EnergySmart for Business
The PACE EnergySmart for Business Program aims to improve building energy efficiency and inform business owners about available utility rebates. This program offers free services for small businesses (those generally with less than 15,000 square feet). Services include a building energy assessment, an assessment report with a prioritized implementation plan, and information about applicable utility rebates. Implementation contracting services are also provided at no additional cost to ensure that qualified contractors are hired and cost effective measures are installed correctly.
This program is part of the community's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol. Funding for this program is provided by Boulder County, the city of Longmont and the Climate Action Plan tax passed by city of Boulder voters in November 2006.
